Collection: CHAMPAGNE MICHEL GONET
MICHEL GONET
As the eldest of his brothers, Michel leaves the family estate to make room for his brothers. He settled with his wife Annie a few kilometers away, in AVIZE , where he built a new cellar.
Never stops improving the quality of work in the vineyard and in the cellar . Its sole purpose is to produce champagne pure and environmentally friendly.
Then, in 1986, he fell in love with the Bordeaux region and bought Château Lesparre , where, surrounded by his 3 children, Sophie, Charles-Henri and Frédéric, he put all his savoir-faire into play. Today, they are the ones who take up the baton in Champagne and Bordeaux .
2000
After the right bank, the family sets out to conquer the left bank, first Charles-Henri with the castle Haut-Bacalan , then Frédéric with the castle d'Eck .
In 2011, Sophie, driven by the desire to receive and share family champagne, took over 37 of the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. This neo-Gothic style residence built in 1896, which became La Villa Signolle , named after the bride, is today an unmissable place for champagne lovers.
In 2014 Château Haut-Brana , a small jewel of the Pessac-Léognan appellation , surrounded by the vineyards of Château Pape Clément, joins the vineyards of Michel Gonet.
