Collection: CHAMPAGNE LE GALLAIS
In 1927, Hachod Fringhian, ancestor of Charlotte Morgain Le Gallais, purchased the Boursault estate, previously owned by Madame Veuve Clicquot .
The latter had the Château de Boursault built there in 1843 and her great-granddaughter, the Duchess of Uzès, separated from the estate in 1913.
The estate is located in the village of Boursault, a few kilometers from Epernay, in the heart of the Marne Valley.
7 LOTS IN A CLOSED AREA: A RARE SITUATION
5 generations later, Charlotte manages part of the estate: 7 plots with their own characteristics, in the family enclosure, overlooking the Marne Valley.
Inside the enclosure, a few hundred meters from the furthest plot, there are also the press, the cellars and the cellars, which guarantee great freshness of the fruit at the time of pressing and processing.
CLAY-LIMESCALE SOIL
The richness of the estate lies as much in the building elements as in the soil: the filtering properties of the limestone mixed with the freshness of the clay contribute to the balance of the terroir and are an essential element in our quest for finesse and elegance for our champagnes.
