Vilmart Family Maison that sees its origins in 1890 with Désiré Vilmart. Laurent Champs, (chef de cave, last descendant and fifth generation of the Vilmart family) accompanies the organic approach with a traditional vinification in which fermentation and aging take place in wood and, above all, there is no malolactic so the natural acidity of the grapes remains intact. The property, located in the Montagne de Reims region, consists of 11 hectares divided into 12 parcels. Seven Cuvées are produced.

THE WINE:
The color is golden and shows a certain maturity. The effervescence is long-lasting, giving life to a persistent and delicate foam with fine bubbles. The first impression on the nose is marked by great intensity (aroma of biscuits, ripe wheat, pear and cherry). After a few seconds, the bouquet takes on even more complexity. With oxygenation this wine presents tertiary aromas, such as melted butter and toasted bread, reflecting a harmonious evolution of the wine. There is a good balance between the primary aromas (fruity), secondary (bread, butter and biscuits) and tertiary (mineral and spicy). It is lively in the mouth. Good acidity and effervescence followed by an intense freshness. The balance is due to the delicacy of the wine. The finish is long and mineral.
