Alìe, a figure from Greek mythology, one of the sea nymphs, a symbol of sensuality and beauty. Alìe, an elegant Rosé with a light, pure color, with subtle ruby reflections. A refined balance between Syrah and Vermentino, which find their maximum expression in the proximity to the sea. Aromas of white flowers, wild strawberries and citrus peels blend into a delicate structure with hints of minerality typical of the area, which give a long and rich finish. Enchanting from aperitif to meals and in good company.

VINIFICATION AND MATURATION:
The secret of Alìe lies in the combination of territorial characteristics, vineyard management and obviously the human factor. The grapes, once harvested, were transported to the cellar in a short time so as not to spoil or damage the bunches. One of the highlights of the production of Alìe was the pressing phase. The bunches, whole and in the absence of oxygen, were loaded into the press. The pressure applied during this phase was extremely soft and delicate; this process together with the careful selection of the musts and a subsequent decantation of these, for no less than 12 hours, made it possible to enhance the distinctive characteristics of this seductive rosé. The fermentations took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of less than 19° C. After a few months of maturation on fine lees, subsequently also including a period in the bottle, Alìe 2021 was ready to seduce and fascinate, making every sip passionate.
TASTING NOTES:
Alìe 2022 has a splendid pale pink dress. On the nose, its fruity baggage is particularly varied: citrus notes of cedar and bergamot, ripe peach and white fruits. Followed by the floral soul of Alìe dominated by iris, orange blossom and peony. The long bouquet continues with clear memories of iodine and aromatic herbs such as thyme, rosemary and sage. The taste-olfactory correspondence is notable and precise, characterized by freshness and flavor. Alìe is a rich, silky, soft and satisfying wine.
CLIMATE TREND:
The winter of 2021/2022 was characterized by good rainfall, as was the spring of 2022. This situation generated a proper water supply to the subsoil. Budding occurred a few days later than usual, but the increase in temperatures led to regular vegetative development. The summer days with temperatures above average led to a splendid ripening of the Syrah and Vermentino grapes. As a result, the aromatic evolution was magnificent. The sun and the refreshing sea breezes were the perfect companions during the harvest period; both allowed the plants to reach a compositional balance that is an expression of this microclimate. The most genuinely Mediterranean expression of Tuscany.
