The company owns 50 hectares and they are mainly planted with Nebbiolo for Barolo and Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for the classic method. They are all located in the municipality of Monforte and were purchased in the 70s. The average age of the plants is 35 years. The average altitude is 350 meters above sea level and the training system is Guyot. Although the practices in the vineyard and the production philosophy adopted are always the same, the different composition of the subsoil in the various areas gives rise to wines that can differ significantly from vineyard to vineyard.

The microclimate of Monforte is characterized by the high altitude of its hills. Each vineyard has its own shape and a well-defined character, however the trend of these slopes creates channels that convey air and help the vines to grow in a healthy and vigorous way.


THE WINE:
To the eye it appears a pale straw yellow colour, clear. To the nose it is fresh, with floral notes reminiscent of the white flowers of acacia and hawthorn, white pulp fruit, golden apple, medlar and with hints of almond and partly of exotic fruit given by Sauvignon, with a light aroma. On the palate a good freshness and pleasantness with a nice balance between the fresh notes and the fullness to the taste, white flowers and fresh fruit are still found with a pleasant flavor, these characteristics make it a wine particularly suitable for appetizers, fish dishes and light first courses. VINIFICATION:
Immediately after pressing, the must is placed in cement, where it will ferment and further refine before being bottled.
