Pinot Noir was successfully introduced to Trentino Alto Adige at the beginning of the 19th century. The gentle slopes and microclimate of the Mazon plateau soon proved to offer the ideal conditions for producing Pinot Noir of international stature. The family and the winery have over a century of experience in caring for this noble vine. Today they successfully cultivate Pinot Noir in the best parcels and exposures of the region.
THE WINE:
Pinot Nero Meczan presents the typical characteristics of this noble grape variety. It is ideal for a consumer who desires above all softness, fragrance and a clear fruity character from a Pinot Nero. Bright ruby red color with garnet nuances, it has fresh, exuberant, captivating aromas of small berries and cherry, it is very harmonious, balanced, without sharp edges, rich in flavor and fine on the palate.
VINIFICATION:
The grapes are separated from the stalks at 75% and 25% poured intact into the barrels. The fermentation lasts about 10 days and during this period the must always remains in direct contact with the skins. SERVING TEMPERATURE 12°-14° C

Recommended with noble poultry, roasts, first courses with meat sauce
