On the nose it is fragrant and decisive, characterized by the unmistakable peculiarity of Pinot Noir, with light hints of dried wild flowers. VINIFICATION AND REFINING:
The grapes were hand-picked upon arrival at the cellar and were directly subjected to soft pressing. The 'flower' must, obtained from the first pressing, was transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature. The wine then began the second fermentation process in the bottle, remaining in contact with the yeasts for a long period of time.

HISTORICAL DATA:
Tenuta Montenisa is located in the heart of Franciacorta, around the Borgo di Calino. The history of the property, belonging to the Maggi family for the last century, is inevitably linked to that of the Mille Miglia: Count Aymo Maggi was, in fact, one of the founders of this historic car race. His wife, Countess Camilla Maggi, was also a popular figure in the Franciacorta area for her numerous charitable and social initiatives. The estate grows the varieties that traditionally lend themselves best to the production of Franciacorta: Chardonnay, with a typical aroma with floral and fruity notes, Pinot Noir, capable of giving structure and personality, Pinot Bianco, savoury and mineral. The grape harvest is done manually, with careful selection of the bunches. Small crates are used for the harvest to avoid breaking the grapes and the risk of starting fermentation. The soft pressing takes place with modern pneumatic presses. Marchese Antinori Rosé was created to best express the peculiarities of Pinot Noir through a great personality and intense, vibrant aromas.
PAIRING AND SERVING TEMPERATURE:
The balance and harmony of this rosé make it the ideal companion for a dinner based on shellfish, pigeon and white meat in general. Due to its versatility, it is also interesting to pair it with desserts based on berries and medium bitter chocolate. The ideal serving temperature is between 7 and 9 °C.
