LR

LR are the initials of Luis Raifer, the great inspirer of this wine. Raifer was for many years president and director of Cantina Colterenzio as well as one of the pioneers of the quality revolution.
After several years and several attempts to identify the right varieties, LR was finally born. Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Sauvignon, refined on the lees and aged in wood, make up this cuvée with an important structure and feminine elegance. Femininity that also wants to be transmitted through an external casing, unique in its kind for elegance and refinement.

CURIOSITY':

“Producing an exclusive wine, capable of exciting a very demanding clientele and at the same time strengthening the image and prestige of Colterenzio”, this is Luis Raifer’s vision. After several years and many tests to identify the right varieties, LR was finally born. Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon, important varieties for Colterenzio, refined on the lees and aged in wood make up this cuvée. Born to stand out and capable of exciting. All this combined in an extraordinary packaging, unique in its elegance and refinement. Each vintage is characterized by a different image “in the bottle”.

THE WINE:

Intense straw yellow in color, fruity on the nose, with exotic hints. A palate of great structure and character with great aging potential: 8-10 years.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:

12-14° C.

VINIFICATION:

After a soft pressing and fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels and remains in the bottle for a further 12 months. Only 3 years after the harvest is the wine marketed.
