VINTAGE:
Acate, in the Tenuta di Vittoria, the 2021 vintage was less rainy than average. The lower rainfall recorded was compensated by irrigations that favored the regular vegetative-productive cycle. The quantity and quality of the grapes produced was in line with the company's objectives. The Frappato grapes thus reached an ideal sugar, aromatic and phenolic maturation, a premise for wines of particular fragrance and pleasantness.
VINIFICATION AND REFINING:
Fermentation takes place in steel with maceration on the skins for about 8-9 days at a temperature of 24-25°C. Aged 4 months in tank and at least 5 months in bottle. Wine longevity of about 3\4 years.
TASTING NOTES:
Ruby red color with purple reflections, Bell'Assai 2021 presents floral hints of freesia and lavender on the nose, followed by fruity notes of strawberry and cherry. On the palate it is fresh and fragrant with soft tannins and a pleasant return of fruity notes. FOOD WINE PAIRING:
Perfect to drink by the glass, it goes well with grilled vegetables, cold cuts and tasty fish dishes such as soups. Also excellent on tuna sushi. Serve in medium-sized glasses, it can be uncorked at the moment, excellent slightly chilled (15-16°C).
