THE PERFECT HARMONY

Dom Pérignon creates only Vintage Champagnes, made from the best grapes selected in a single year.
It never stops reinventing itself, to always best interpret the exclusive character of each season. It refuses compromises, giving up the creation of the Millesimato when the harvest is not up to par.
After a minimum of eight years of elaboration, the wine reaches a perfect balance, the most beautiful promise of the Maison. This is Dom Pérignon Vintage, the Plénitude of Harmony.

ON THE PALATE

The fruit is majestic, ripe, fleshy and deep. Beyond the richness and a certain sensuality, a strong impression of coherence prevails. The strength of the wine is surprisingly controlled. The various sensations (silky, savory, juicy, bitter and marine) converge and persist.

ON THE NOSE

Notes of guava and spicy green grapefruit peel combine with stone fruit aromas: white peach and nectarine. The wine opens up and the ensemble is rounded out with hints of woody vanilla and warm, lightly toasted brioche.

THE 2009 HARVEST

The excellent weather conditions recorded in 2009 are unprecedented in duration and have allowed us to explore new frontiers in terms of grape ripening in the Champagne region. The vintage boasts an extremely ripe and rich fruit aroma, of grapes at the peak of ripeness, and promises a wine characterized by freshness and energy. 2009 closes in the best possible way a prodigious, sunny, bold and generous decade.

CULINARY COMBINATIONS

Sicilian olive oil envelops the unrivaled sensual notes of Dom Pérignon. When the wine marries the low acidity and brilliance of the oily substance, it reveals the velvety curves, impeccable voluptuousness and softness of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009, enlivened by vegetal notes.
