Dedicatum is a Rosso Veneto composed of 14 different grape varieties, varying according to the vintage.
The vineyards are located in the DOC Classica, at over 400 m above sea level, situated on the classic terraces with traditional dry stone walls.
Dedicated to Leone, Federico's grandfather, who was able to instill love for this land in his grandson and his wife Chiara.

Dedicatum is produced only in years of undisputed excellence. ONLY 3438 BOTTLES PRODUCED

THE WINE:

Terre di Leone Dedicatum Rosso Veneto IGT has an intense ruby ​​red color with a light orange hue. The nose reveals a multifaceted and complex profile, rich in tertiary aromas reminiscent of leather and tobacco. It then opens up on spicy hints of black pepper and wood. The fruity notes are unmissable, including ripe blackberry, other red fruits in alcohol and cherry jam.
On the palate it is a succession of broad and elegant sensations, which unfold one by one. The alcoholic warmth is well present, which is expertly balanced with the tannins, perfectly smoothed and integrated with the more woody and spicy notes.

Rich, structured and complex, soft and persuasive. Excellent body and structure.
The finish is long and of remarkable persistence.

VINIFICATION AND REFINING:

Late harvest in the second ten days of October, carried out manually in small crates of maximum 5 kg and careful selection of the best bunches, which are placed in the fruit cellars to dry for about 15 days. The fresh grapes are destemmed without being pressed and processed by gravity. Cold pre-fermentation phase in stainless steel containers for 7/9 days followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Subsequently, the marc is delicately pressed to extract more aromas and colouring matter. The refinement takes place in 10 hectolitre French oak barrels for a period of approximately 40 months.
Bottling and marketing after 8 months of rest in the bottle.

FOOD PAIRING:

Also excellent on its own, as a meditation wine. Mature and blue cheeses, grilled meat, braised meats and important red meat stews.
