Le Green Bio-Organic is obtained exclusively from grapes coming from
from Domaine de al Malmaison, our 16 hectare vineyard located at
center of the Marne Valley. Based on the observation of the vineyard
and the climate, it is a real life-size laboratory cultivated according to a viticulture that respects the fauna, the flora,
of the earth and of men. Certified AB and Demeter, it is one of the largest estates in Champagne managed biodynamically. The life of the plants and the soil is enhanced by increasingly meticulous work and by the encouragement of biodiversity, testifying to the Maison Lanson's commitment to sustainable viticulture. CHARACTERISTICS - The rainy winter gave way to an exceptionally warm spring and summer, beating all records for sunshine and drought. Ideal climatic conditions that persisted until the time of the harvest.
ensuring the fruit a nice acidity and excellent maturity. The 2018 harvest produced a concentrated Pinot Noir, a balanced Chardonnay and a Meunier with a crisp vivacity, despite the hailstorm that occurred in full bloom leaving its mark on the estate's yields.
Like all Lanson champagnes, in Lanson Green Label the absence of malolactic fermentation preserves the original purity and freshness of the grapes which, after three years spent in the Maison's cellars, show all their refinement and aroma. On the nose, Lanson Green Label expresses intense notes of pear, peach and blackcurrant, accompanied by aromas of citrus and spices and a background of mineral aromas. The ripe fruit is found on the palate and blends harmoniously with the minerality, which anticipates a fresh and long finish, rich in spicy notes and exotic fruit.
Ideal as an aperitif, it can also be paired with elaborate fish dishes or grilled meat.
