It is one of the oldest and most prestigious winemaking realities in all of French Burgundy. Founded in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard, production takes place in the Pouilly Fuissé area, in the historic Clos du Pavillon where the cellars dating back to 1755 are located. Since 1984, the Maison has undergone major renovation work (in the vineyard and in the castle) thanks to the change of ownership and therefore by the will of Baron Patrick De Ladoucette.
THE WINE:
Produced only in the best vintages, it comes from a selection of the best Chardonnays in the region.
The white Bourgogne "Retour des Flandres" from Domaine Regnard is produced only in the best years. After the manual harvest, the grapes are soft pressed and fermented in thermo-regulated steel vats. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for several months, 2/3 in steel and 1/3 in wood.
A fresh and mineral wine with a good acidic and savoury vein. The nose expresses notes of yellow fruit, followed by white flowers, pear and apple. On the palate it is fresh, broad and balanced.
