Pressenda is a spectacular vineyard overlooking the Serralunga Castle, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. A wine suitable for a long evolution in the bottle, it is born pleasant thanks to a natural acid component that refreshes the palate.

THE WINE:

absolutely classic vintage for Barolo, the 2019s are Barolos with a very decisive and austere structure, wines with great aging potential that will be able to give us some of the best bottles of this denomination in the future. Pressenda, one of the most suitable vineyards in Monforte d'Alba, stands out for the elegance and intensity of its aromas. Ruby red color with garnet reflections in the glass, intense aromas of balsamic herbs, undergrowth and berries on the nose, decisive but enveloping and very soft tannins on the palate.
mature, very vertical and elegant texture. Wine to drink now with pairings of fattier dishes or to evolve in the cellar for the next 10 or 20 years.

VINIFICATION AND REFINING:

Destemming-crushing followed by skin maceration. Start of spontaneous alcoholic fermentation by means of indigenous yeasts in contact with the skins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over. At the end of this period, a submerged cap maceration is carried out, then dry racking, racking and decanting into barrels. Malolactic fermentation: Completely spontaneous during submerged cap maceration. Aging: After spending a long period in barrels, it is assembled and bottled. It then rests in the bottle at a constant temperature of 14° C for several months before being released for sale. First year of production: 1998
